Five Steps to Prevent Your Aegend Snorkel Mask from Leaking

1. Adjust the strap for a “just right” fit Pull the elastic silicone strap until the mask sits snugly against your face without leaving red marks. The silicone skirt should create a watertight seal – not by being overly tight, but by fitting naturally.

2. Clean the silicone skirt – any debris breaks the seal Before putting on the mask, check the silicone skirt (especially around forehead, nose, and cheeks) for hair, sand, sunscreen, or lint. Even a single hair can become a water channel.

3. Keep your face clean, dry, and oil‑free Rinse off sweat, oil, or lotion before use. For facial hair users: stubble may slightly affect the seal. Wear the mask a bit tighter, or trim contact areas.

4. Position the mask starting from the top of your nose Hold the mask with both hands, gently press the silicone skirt against the bridge of your nose, then lower it over your eyes and cheeks. Ensure the lens is centered and the skirt evenly contacts both sides of your nose and cheekbones.

5. Fine‑tune with the side quick‑adjust buckle – even underwater After securing the strap, use the side quick‑adjust buckle for micro‑tightening: pull while feeling the pressure on your face until stable. Remember: if you feel minor leakage underwater, simply push the buckle and turn it half a click – no need to surface.

After each use: Rinse with fresh water and air dry completely. The silicone skirt will stay soft and elastic for long‑lasting leak‑free performance.

How to stop my mask from leaking?

Lift hair off the silicone skirt. Place mask on nose bridge first, then pull strap. Adjust side buckle until snug – not painful. If still leaking, tighten 1 click underwater

Mask fogs up – what should I NOT do?

Never wipe inside lens or use toothpaste. Our anti-fog film is pre-applied. Just rinse with mild soap + water. Avoid sunscreen on lens

How to clean without scratching the lens?

Rinse with fresh water after each use. Use soft cloth + mild soap. Never use paper towel or dry rub. Air dry in mesh bag.

Can I wear this mask with glasses?

Glasses don’t fit inside. Use daily contact lenses or buy a universal Rx lens insert (sold separately). Mask seal is glasses-free

What to do before first use?

Rinse mask with fresh water + mild soap, then rinse again. Do NOT burn or scrub with toothpaste. Check fit by inhaling gently – mask should stay.
